- What is the address? Since I work from my home, I give the address once an appointment is confirmed. The address is near the intersection of Cave Springs and Mexico in Saint Peters, MO.
- What vaccinations do I need? I require proof of Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations
- Do I come inside? I meet you either at your car or the front door. However, you are always more than welcome to come inside and see the grooming area.
- Will my dog be muzzled? I do not use muzzles, not because I believe them to be inhumane, but there are other tools that allow me to keep myself and the dogs safer and less stressed. I use grooming hammocks and Elizabethan collars, or what might be known as the "cone".
- How much will it cost? Costs depend on the size, coat condition, and behavior of the dog, so the price varies.
- What if I'm late? So we run on time, we do ask you to be to your appointment on time, if you are more than 15 minutes late we may have to cancel your appointment to keep us on track for our other appointments.
- Are you accepting new clients? I am currently accepting new hair cut dogs under 35 lbs, new bath dogs under 50 lbs, all puppies under 5 months, and new nail trim appointments.
- How often should my dog's nails be trimmed? Generally recommend once a month, it does depend some on your dog's age and activity level. Once a month is a good fit for most dogs.
- How often should my dog be groomed? It depends on the breed of the dog, but a 4-6 week appointment is recommended for most dogs. For hair cut dogs this keeps them clean and detangled and for shedding breeds this helps keep their nails and hair under control.
- What if I need to cancel my appointment? I completely understand that life happens and unexpected issues arise and I do my best to accommodate everyone’s needs. However, I work on a tight schedule and am directly impacted when there is a no-show or late cancellation. To keep the operation running efficiently, it is required to give a two business day cancellation notice, this allows time to fill your spot. If notice is not given a $30 fee may be charged.
