About 

My name is Rachel Fawkes, ​​I grew up washing and caring for my childhood dogs. As I went to college in Kansas City, I became a bather in 2014 to test the waters for grooming and I was hooked!
​I decided to pursue my dream and went to grooming school at Petropolis Grooming Academy in Chesterfield, MO.
I learned about dog handling and how they feed off the emotions of those around them, especially their groomer. As I have groomed in various shops and settings, I began to see the need for a different kind of grooming. 

On 5th street in 2018 is when Foxy K9 was born, to provide the grooming service I would want and trust for my own dogs.  I believe with a level head and gentle hand, your fur baby and I can develop a relationship of trust and a stress free groom.

At the end of 2022 we moved from 5th street to my house in Saint Peters. I have found grooming from my home has only enhanced the calm and relaxing experience. The dogs love having a fenced in yard, couch, and extra people to love on them!
